Upgrade Xorg in testing with driver ATI proprietary : segment fault in xorg.
Hi X-Mens. My Hardware : Laptop Aspire 5742G with AMD Radeon HD 6300 Series (1002:68e4) I made an wheezy install there is 5 days (2012/05/17). I installed ATI driver with the last ATI proprietary. I use this methodology : aptitude install build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r) module-assistant ./amd-driver-installer-12-4-x86.x86_64.run It's worked very well five days. I made an upgrade today (with an xorg upgrade). After restart the laptop, I have a segment fault in xorg. I made a new install of wheezy, and after install ati driver, I have the same segment fault.
