Bug#939276: xserver-xorg: Official PRIME Render Offload (patches)

2019-09-02 Thread Mateusz Kaduk
Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 1:7.7+19
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

We have already in Debian, GLVND, recent Nvidia drivers include GLVND and
support for PRIME offloading.
As described here
http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/435.17/README/primerenderoffload.html
The following patches from master are needed

7f962c70 - xsync: Add resource inside of SyncCreate, export SyncCreate

37a36a6b - GLX: Add a per-client vendor mapping

8b67ec7c - GLX: Use the sending client for looking up XID's

56c0a71f - GLX: Add a function to change a clients vendor list

b4231d69 - GLX: Set GlxServerExports::{major,minor}Version

These are build for Ubuntu, can Debian also include these patches?

Regards,

Bug#657183: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics: ETPS/2 Elantech touchpad, right click not working, two finger scroll not working

2012-01-24 Thread Mateusz Kaduk
Package: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
Version: 1.5.0+git20120101-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I have Asus UX21 Zenbook, which comes with Elantech touchpad. This touchpad
works perfectly on Windows.
On Linux is not merly usable, THE MOST critical thing that is not working is
right-click button.
Also two finger scrolling is not working, but this is less severe bug than
missing right-click.
Please contact vendor or developer, and please take appriopriate actions to
resolve this critical problem.

Thanks,
Mateusz

Bug#420350: Fwd: Bug#420350: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Bug in driver

2007-10-03 Thread Mateusz Kaduk
2007/10/3, Brice Goglin:

Thanks I am looking forward for that. Can You post direct url ?

 http://people.debian.org/~bgoglin/rebuilds/i810/1.7.2-Xserver1.4/http://people.debian.org/%7Ebgoglin/rebuilds/i810/1.7.2-Xserver1.4/

 Untested, of course :)

Tested.
~$ glxinfo | grep render
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 845G 20061017 x86/MMX/SSE2

Package doesn't install because of package conflict. This could be fixed so
i810 replaces i810 link to intel with driver file. But binaries are
compatible. I unpacked i810_drv.so from Your package and copied to
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/i810_drv.so

Also having acpid instead of apmd caused black LCD.

Now everything works fine.
Thanks for fast response, good job:)

Bug#420350: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Bug in driver

2007-10-02 Thread Mateusz Kaduk
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.1.1-4
Followup-For: Bug #420350

Bug still exist after half of the year and I think its NOT in the core as
debian packaged driver from 2007/03/05 worked just fine with the new core.
However I cant get it back as I dont remember which xorg-core didnt
complain about older driver and didnt remove it, I managed to run
compiz-fusion on them. Current core depends on new intel package which
cause black screen.

I suggest temporarly fix for this by removing that
dependence and allowing 1.7.2-4 i810 driver to be installed with new
core.

I'll also try to remove I2C from kernel as it might give bogus output.

Bug#420350: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Bug in driver

2007-10-02 Thread Mateusz Kaduk
2007/10/3, Brice Goglin [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

You might want to try the latest upstream git repository. See
http://bgoglin.livejournal.com/10936.html for some help on building it.

However screen is still black current git does better job. I am attaching
log file. No more errors about sil164, ivch and tfp410
submodule and one new error connected with ch7017 submodule.
(EE) intel(0): ch7017 not detected, got 25: from DVOI2C_E Slave 234.

The real workaround would be to rebuild xserver-xorg-video-i810 against
xserver-xorg-dev 1.4. I'll try to do that and place it on
 people.debian.org soon.

Thanks I am looking forward for that. Can You post direct url ?

Bug#420350: Xorg.log with debug option turned on

2007-07-10 Thread Mateusz Kaduk
 Hi Mateusz,
Does xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.1.0-2 (currently in unstable) help?

No, the same effect. Is upstream aware of that bug ?

Bug#420350: Still doesnt work

2007-06-23 Thread Mateusz Kaduk
Hi,

Ok what I did was.
Removed i810, changed in xorg.conf from i810 to intel.
Then
apt-get -t experimental install xserver-xorg-video-intel
which was 2.0.0-5
Did restart gdm.

I got some errors. I also tried
X -configure
and
X -config /root/Xorg.conf.new
however I got the same errors as before.

Here is the output.

# X -config /root/xorg.conf.new
_XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6
_XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for inet6/cannibal:0

It doesnt work with current Xorg.conf and the new one. So its probably

I am still working on old driver.

Unresolved symbol in xserver-xorg-core 1.2.99.902

2007-03-20 Thread Mateusz Kaduk

Hi,
I states on debian's website that users of experimental packages are
encouraged to contact the package maintainers directly in case of problems.

Currently Iam working on 1.1.1 however when I upgrade to 1.2.99 and mesa
6.5.2-3 I am getting unresolved symbol error in
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libdri.so and X doesnt start.
There is a bug in 1.1.1 xserver-xorg-core which cause that beryl doesnt
work, it states on their site that this is fixed in xserver-xorg-core
1.2.99which doesnt work for me.

For help thanks in advance

AIGLX: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x23

If you have direct rendering enabled and Your screen blinks with black
triangles
Warning message:

(WW) AIGLX: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x23
in /var.log/Xorg.0.log means that i912_dri.so is lacking of something.

I found that Xorg is looking first in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri whereas
new is in /usr/lib/dri

ln -s /usr/lib/dri /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri
Should fix the problem
