I gave it a shot, newport and sunleo drivers failed to build in a
chroot: the only binary package for newport is 'Architecture: mips'
and sunleo is missing a build-dependency on quilt. Let me know whether
you are going to fix that or I should produce a fixed package myself.

Ok, everything is uploaded to experimental (except newport, which is
wrong architecture). The patch I had to apply to get sunleo driver to
build in a chroot is attached.

Many thanks! (everything pushed, including the sunleo patch, only
missing newport at this point)

“Sponsor ” needed for X sparc video drivers

2010-10-16 Thread Cyril Brulebois
Hi,

I don't have sparc hardware, so I can't build this bunch of sparc-only
X video drivers, and I'd be grateful if somebody could sponsor those
to experimental (as in: build sign upload) for me.

Packages:
  http://people.debian.org/~kibi/queue/xserver-xorg-video-suncg14_1.1.1-4.dsc
  http://people.debian.org/~kibi/queue/xserver-xorg-video-suncg3_1.1.1-4.dsc

  http://people.debian.org/~kibi/queue/xserver-xorg-video-sunffb_1.2.1-3.dsc
  http://people.debian.org/~kibi/queue/xserver-xorg-video-sunleo_1.2.0-4.dsc
  http://people.debian.org/~kibi/queue/xserver-xorg-video-suntcx_1.1.1-4.dsc

Checksums:

Thanks already!

I could pull out an old sparc if you provide some more instructions. I
also thought that debian had some sparc machines available for building
and testing packages?

Tyler.
