IIUC xwayland uses libgcrypt for the SHA1 implementation 2) near the end of your build log is the following message: "../os/meson.build:63:8: ERROR: Problem encountered: secure-rpc requested, but neither libtirpc or libc RPC support were found" And that matches the build issue mentioned in #1065184.
