Hi Julien, About 3 years ago, you reported a problem to the Debian BTS regarding the backing store implementation being very slow. Did you reproduce this problem recently? With Xorg/Etch? I am keeping the bug open since it very probably still applies to Xorg (the BackingStore code didn't change for a while, and is still slow but also buggy).
