I have the same problem with the keyboard : from Gnome 2.6 (latest Sid) : - open keyboard preferences -> layouts - try to select both "fr" and "ca" layouts (or "fr" and "us_intl") => You get an error window.
You can reproduce the same thing with the command line : The following command works : setxkbmap -layout "fr,us" setxkbmap -layout "fr,gb" But the following does not work : setxkbmap -layout "fr,ca" setxkbmap -layout "fr,us_intl" why ??
