Bug#308823: xserver-xfree86: [debconf] vertical refresh range question doesn't allow for discrete values

2007-01-17 Thread Brice Goglin
Hi Tom,

About 2 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding
discrete values not being possible in the X configuration of vertical
refresh ranges.
Did you reproduce this problem recently? If not, I will close this bug
in the next weeks.

Thanks,
Brice

I just tried it and it does now work correctly (in xserver-xorg).

Bug#308823: xserver-xfree86: [debconf] vertical refresh range question doesn't allow for discrete values

2005-05-12 Thread Tom Rini
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12.0.1
Severity: normal

The vertical refresh range question says:
Please enter either a comma-separated list of discrete values (for
fixed-frequency displays), or a pair of values separated by a dash
(all modern CRT's). This information should be available in your
monitor's manual. Values lower than 50 or higher than 160 are extremely rare.

Enter your monitor's vertical refresh range.

But if I enter 60, 75 60 , 75 or 60,75 (valid values for my
monitor) I get the error text that says:
Please enter a comma-separated list of ranges or values.

The valid syntax is a comma-separated list of discrete values, or a pair
of values separated by a dash.
