Bug#347384: xterm: Colon (:) isn't handled as seperator of words with mouse-doubleclick anymore
close 347384 210-1 forcemerge 348384 347384 thanks On Tue, Jan 10, 2006 at 14:13:28 +0100, Philipp Kolmann wrote: xterm used to interpret a colon in a word or end of word as next word when double-clicking on a word to select it. With the new version now in unstable the colon isn't treated as seperator anymore and is now marked as well. Could you please restore the old behavior if it is possible. The previous behaviour has been restored in xterm 210, which has been uploaded to Debian in March. I'm therefore closing this bug as resolved. It's a simple change (I was uncertain if I should leave it commented out, but I've seen regular complaints about not being able to select URLs). The charClass resource at the end of /etc/X11/app-defaults/XTerm is the change, and can be overridden or removed. -- Thomas E.
