Just don't specify it or comment it out, but the log file you provided
looks like that's already the case.

I don't understand what it means to "disable" the Option "AGPMode".

Yes.  The X server doesn't crash at 16 bpp.

Option "SilkenMouse" "off"
Option "ColorTiling" "off"
Option "SWcursor"

If any of these doesn't seem to make any difference, please double-check
in the log file that it's really in effect.

Also, if you're using Option "AGPMode" or any other AGP/DRI related
options, does disabling them make a difference?

Finally, does running at depth 16 instead of 24 make a difference?
