Bug#420350: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Black screen (powered off) with new driver

2007-06-23 Thread Brice Goglin
Hi,

Could you try the latest xserver-xorg-video-driver (2:2.0.0-5 in
experimental) and report back whether it works better? It contains a
recent git snapshot of the driver.

Thanks,
Brice

Bug#420350: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Black screen (powered off) with new driver

2007-04-23 Thread Brice Goglin
Hi,

Could you please report this bug upstream at bugzilla.freedesktop.org
product xorg component driver/intel? You should attach xorg.conf and
Xorg.0.log. I'd be good if you could add
Option ModeDebug YES
to the Device section of your xorg.conf. Also AddARGBGLXVisuals and
AllowGLXWithComposite are probably useless.

Thanks,
Brice
