Bug#482788: xfs is not running after upgrade

Postinst is looking into /etc/X11/fs/xfs.options, but as this file is removed by preinst, it always defines NOSTART=yes and does not start xfs. Right. The maintainer scripts in 1.0.7 would completely ignore all the xfs restart logic. They should work fine now, but the transition from the old buggy ones to the new fixed ones is not perfect yet. When upgrading from 1.0.7, the old buggy prerm is called and it systematically stops xfs without telling the new postinst to restart it later. We may need a special case like if upgrading from 1.0.7, start the daemon anyway. I'll look at it. Brice -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
