Known problem introduced in lenny r1. Downgrading the xserver-xorg-core
package to the version in r0 will work around this.

Cheers,
Julien

Bug#527165: xserver-xorg-video-sunffb: X fails to start on Creator3D graphics

2009-05-05 Thread Local user
Package: xserver-xorg-video-sunffb
Version: 1:1.1.0-4
Severity: important

X (using the sunffb driver) used to work fine on this machine
(an Ultrasparc10 with Creator3D graphics, although note that
it also has an unused ATI card installed) under Etch.

At some point during/after the Lenny upgrade,
the driver now seems to be failing to start.
(I'm not too sure exactly when it happened as
I normally just ssh into the box.)
