Bug#529757: additionals to the bug

2011-02-27 Thread Cyril Brulebois
Hi,

Cyril Brulebois k...@debian.org (29/01/2011):
sorry it took so long to answer.

for that reason, I'm going to wait a little longer.

If you have a chance, try upgrading to the X stack from squeeze/sid
(or even from experimental), move your xorg.conf aside, and let
autoconfiguration do the work for you (you probably want to make
sure the xserver-xorg-video-all package is installed, which pulls
 all video drivers).

If you're still experiencing issues with this set of packages, please
run the bug script and attach its output:
   /usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg-core/script 3/tmp/script.log

Ping?

KiBi.

the result is, the screen is not cleared, therefore you cannot work
with X, but X itself is working (contrairy to the etch
distribution): I can login and the desktop appears on the display,
but the a above mentionned, the display is not refreshed (see also
the X-Log appended to the initial bug report)
