debian-x isn't the right place for this, but anyway:

http://www.freedesktop.org/~dri/snapshots/README.Debian

The current dri-trunk-sid packages support the DRI on IGPs.

Help with ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP

2004-04-28 Thread Robert Aldridge
I'm looking for a kind soul to help me get X working
on my ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP card in my HP
Pavilion zv5120us laptop. I'm running Debian Sid with
XFree 4.4.0 (I'd happily go back to 4.3.x if I knew
how and knew it would get my card working better).
I'm currently running X with the built-in "radeon"
driver but I have no glx or any hardware 3D
acceleration. Any help or pointers to help would be
appreciated. I don't subscribe to debian-x, so please
email me direct if you can provide assistance.

lspci returns this about my card:

:01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI
Technologies Inc: Unknown device 5835

Below is my XF86Config-4:
