New release of trident driver bugged
Hello, I have a problem on my old computer, since the new release of xserver-xorg-video-trident my computer is blocked after a few minutes when I start xfce , I have tried with xubuntu they have the old driver in their repositories and it work fine. Can you remove from testing the new version of the trident driver? ( I would rather return on debian as soon as possible!!!), sorry for my bad English , I am French... Thanks Sébastien Denux
new release
I note that X11R7 has been released. It would be so nifty if this could be in etch. Unless I hear back shortly, I'll open a wishlist bug for it. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]: Re: new release]
I just sent this to Thomas, thinking brilliantly that he had mailed me personally about the issue. I guess I've been getting too many personal bug reports for things lately... - David Nusinow - Forwarded message from David Nusinow [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Date: Wed, 4 Jan 2006 20:58:09 -0500 From: David Nusinow [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Thomas Bushnell BSG [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: new release On Wed, Jan 04, 2006 at 04:48:57PM -0800, Thomas Bushnell BSG wrote: I note that X11R7 has been released. The only difference is the build system. Etch will have the latest released version from upstream because of this. 2) I've been working on this for months. If you bothered to check debian-x or the messages I've sent to debian-devel-announce, you would be aware of this. 3) Why are you mailing me personally rather than debian-x? - David Nusinow - End forwarded message - -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Hold on new release until linux-kernel-headers to be installed.
Hello, David. I was talking this morning to Adeodato Simó, the guy who made an NMU to linux-kernel-headers this weekend in order to fix the joystick.h/__KERNEL__ issue (#320515), and part of the Qt/KDE team. While they are interested in having as soon as possible Qt in unstable, they will wait until X.Org were fully built in every architecture. Could you then please hold on 6.8.2.dfsg.1-5 until l-k-h to be installed in every buildd? I will send you the thumbs-up. Thanks in advance, Ender. -- Another C-3PO: E chu ta!
