Ben Collins (new glibc and libdb2 maintainer) told me they would. 3.3.6-11 was built on a potato system for other potato systems. The forthcoming XFree86 4.x libraries will be built either against glibc 2.1.3 or 2.1.94+. I haven't decided which yet, but 4.0.1-0phase2v12 is built against 2.1.3. -- G.
