It will require confirmations on mailing list subscriptions; you can find

We haven't seen that here, but have had two reports of this, and are
investigating it.

Not yet, and unfortunately it may be a while before we can get to it
now. We are going to be very shortstaffed in the upcoming days and
possibly weeks.

What's Declude Confirm? Haven't seen anything on it yet, at least didn't
notice it.

It has successfully not happened since yesterday 26 hours ago, however what
I would see is that the mailserver would be at 100% utilization. Upon
popping up Task Manager, Declude.exe would be at 99% or 100% utilization.
The memory of the system has never been over 72000K/377368K, even at that
time.

Also, any idea on my DECLUDE CONFIRM problems?

If you E-mail us the declude.gp1 and declude.gp2 files, we can find out
what is causing this. Those are not text files, and almost always have
non-viewable portions in them.

[Declude.JunkMail] Declude crashing and taking up 99% CPU

2001-09-11 Thread Terrence Koeman

Hello, since I upgraded to declude 1.25a sometimes the following happens:

1. Declude logs something like this:

09/11/2001 04:18:48 Q743b0de (Error 5 at 77fcb9b1 v1.25a)
09/11/2001 04:18:48 Q743b0de (log part 1 saved as C:\declude.gp1)
09/11/2001 04:18:48 Q743b0de (Error 5 at 77fcb892 v1.25a)
09/11/2001 04:18:48 Q743b0de (log part 1 saved as C:\declude.gp1)

This are the contents of declude.gp1:

˜x
(Error 5 at 77fcb892 v1.25a)
(attempt to write at cdcdcdcd)
(77FCB892 000E7898 (005B 00750D20) C:\WINNT\System32\ntdll.dll)
(77FCB733 000E7940 (005B ) C:\WINNT\System32\ntdll.dll)
(00423FD6 000E7958 (00750D28 0001) Z:\IMail\DECLUDE.EXE)
(0041B747 000E7974 (00750D48 0001) Z:\IMail\DECLUDE.EXE)
(0041A070 000E7994 (00750D48 00422467) Z:\IMail\DECLUDE.EXE)
(0042B74A 0012DBDC (0012FF68 0012DC40) Z:\IMail\DECLUDE.EXE)
(00409B01 0012DC38 ( ) Z:\IMail\DECLUDE.EXE)
(00407441 0012FF80 (0002 005C0B70) Z:\IMail\DECLUDE.EXE)
(0041A889 0012FFC0 ( ) Z:\IMail\DECLUDE.EXE)
(77E97D08 0012FFF0 (0041A7A0 ) C:\WINNT\system32\KERNEL32.dll)

2. There is a declude.exe process taking up 99% CPU time.

3. All users that use POP3 are told their password is incorrect, and are
prompted to enter the corrct one (in Outlook).

As I cannot end the declude process (Access Denied), the only way to get
mail working is a reboot, after a reboot everything works fine again until
the next time

Any ideas?
