RE: [Declude.JunkMail] Hijack - releasing emails

2003-03-14 Thread R. Scott Perry

Would it help if I set up a workstation for testing this?
That could. But we will still need to investigate here, and prepare for
any possible changes here.

Re: [Declude.JunkMail] Hijack - releasing emails

2003-03-14 Thread Glenn \\ WCNet

I've been wondering the same thing.  I noticed
a couple times that Hijack repeatedly did a level 1 hold on a particular IP
(dial-up user), and the messages in question had a virus.  The stream of
outgoing mail never did reach level 2 hold, and I'm wondering if Virus caught
the infection each time when Hijack released them from the hold.

What happens if a user gets infected with a virus and sends out 30 e-mails?
Hijacks holds then releases. Do those ever get scanned for virus or SPAM?

Re: [Declude.JunkMail] HiJack - releasing emails

2003-03-13 Thread R. Scott Perry

When HiJack releases a delayed email, does it just move it back to the
spool folder to be delivered on the next queue run? Or does it deliver it
immediately as soon as it releases it?
It will move it back to the spool, and deliver the E-mail immediately.

When HiJack releases a delayed email, does it just move it back to the spool folder to
be delivered on the next queue run? Or does it deliver it immediately as soon as it
