I also strongly recommend Sniffer. We have used for a couple of years. As
spam patterns and variants change daily, it's rule base also changes and is
updated. It significantly reduced the time we spent managing Spam.

I use Message Sniffer. It is very effective. It catches about 96% of all the 
spam messages that come in here (and about 2% of what's left is spam in 
Chinese).

Does declude care if the filter files are Unicode or ANSI text?


Declude JunkMail doesn't have support for Unicode in the filters (or in any 
configuration files), so you'll need to use standard ASCII (such as with 
Notepad or Edit).

I need to know if the files should be ASCII or UTF-16. If they're UTF-16
(Unicode) should they be Big or Little Endian?


Standard ASCII is the only option here.
