Re: [Declude.Virus] Mail Has Stopped

2003-06-12 Thread R. Scott Perry

I checked the Declude log file and see no errors.
So Declude Virus says Virus Free, and if you are running Declude JunkMail
it says Message OK?

Only normal reporting on message's that fail whatever test. I checked the
virus.cfg file and I do have DELIVERERRORS ON in the file. I
just turned on Declude again in the registry and everything stops.
Is the registry entry pointing to C:\IMail\Declude.exe (a different drive
is OK; a different path is not)?

Did you upgrade Imail?

Did you change any tests?

Did you change DNS servers?

Did you change ISP?

I put smtp32.exe back in and everything works.

What would make our Imail server stop delivering mail running with
Declude? What do I look for? About an hour and a half ago everyone
quit receiving mail. We sent to ourselves and it never came. Mail
sent from others to us never came. I ran regedit and replaced
declude.exe with smtp32.exe and things are working again but I am
without declude. (scary!) What do I look for? I rebooted the machine

prior to making the registry entry to no effect

Have you checked the Declude log file(s) to see if they are reporting
 any
errors? This could happen, for example, if the virus scanner reported
 that
all E-mail contained viruses (or was always reporting an error, and you
 do
not have the DELIVERERRORS ON line in your virus.cfg file).

Are the E-mails in the \IMail\spool\virus directory?
