I have heard agreement to remove the tagline, at least for now, and no 
opposition since David's post yesterday. So I'll send Roger email with 
derby-user cc'd requesting that he produce a final in several sizes, if 
he's still available to do so.

yes, let's remove the tagline. The logo should just include "Apache 
Derby" and the hat.
