I am very sorry for that. BTW: Why do you use IRC abd not talkyoo?? (Telefon converence) Up till today, I've never even heard of talkyoo, but based on its website, it seems to be a paid proprietary service. Since LibreOffice has open-source values and would like to be as open to outside contribution as possible (meaning no walled gardens), IRC seems like the best option. It is being used by the TDF now ( and I think for free...) Talkyoo sponsors the call, so it might effectively be free for us, but I'm not sure if they'd be willing to sponsor our calls as well and, frankly, I don't think we need it that much. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to design+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
[libreoffice-design] Successes in the past year
Hi all, LibreOffice Conference is approaching and I would like UX to show what we have achieved since the last conference. It is important that we gain this visibility so developers will understand what we do and who we are. Is there anyone willing to present the final results? If not, I am happy to do that, but as I have not been the most active during this last year, I would really enjoy someone else doing it ;) Additionally, I honestly cannot crawl through all the mails to collect the things we have done, so I hope I can get some support from you all! I have prepared a section in the wiki for documentation: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design - What we have done so far If you have any better place to put this, please take action. Thanks!
