[libreoffice-design] Bug report / feature suggestion
Dear Design Team of LibreOffice! I am not sure, whether this is the right contact to post my suggestion, but probably you can forward it, if needed. LibreOffice/OpenOffice I use now for about ten year in academia environment and I really appreciate the achievements you have reached so far. But there is one missing feature I really get upset about for these many years: the missing ability to print comments next to the text (and not at the end of the document). It is such a critical and central feature you need urgently in every collaborative situation. Here is the fitting bug report page I found: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36815 . I really wonder, that the developers of LO concentrate on many minor issues like bullet points in the note section, but neglect the central ones that are neccessary to use LO at all. (Now I always have to open my Writer documents in Word to be able to print the comments. So, everyone else would stick to Word in such a situation.) Please help!!! Re: [libreoffice-design] Bug report / feature suggestion
Hi Wim, I created an Issue at Freedomsponsors for this: http://www.freedomsponsors.org/core/issue/209/advanced-printing-capabilities-of-comments There you can offer some money for the person who implements this. You pay only, when it's completed. If you can afford, you can of course contract a developer or a company offering development services around LibreOffice. Then you might write to the Development Mailing list. Thanks Samuel Am 03.03.2013 13:59, schrieb Wim Schwerdtner: Dear Design Team of LibreOffice! [libreoffice-design] Re: Flat Icons Guidelines
Absolutely agree with every word. Use of the wiki for discussing anything icon related would be great. Can someone create a whiteboard? Could the designers post as one image their set of icon ideas [current/best ideas] in a PNG/JPG file on the wiki pages or somewhere else? Someone like me that has other work going on for LO and local projects [and little time to do those] can see a brief overview of what is being proposed? I just started on this list to ask about getting a set of the icons in large format, and I thank you for that help. So, I do not know what is going on with the discussions and would like to see some of the current ideas presented on a web page for easy viewing. I may not be the only one. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Flat-Icons-Guidelines-tp4040510p4041337.html Sent from the Design mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to design+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Re: [libreoffice-design] Re: Flat Icons Guidelines
We first have to decide whether to use a new page, the same page than the previous (android) or move the old page somewhere and reuse the same URL. Personnaly, I would move move https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Whiteboards/Flat_icon_set to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Whiteboards/Flat_icon_set_androidet use this location for the new whiteboard (with the link to the old one) Kévin 2013/3/3 Issa Alkurtass ialkurt...@kacst.edu.sa Hello Steve, SteveBell wrote on March 04, 2013 12:07 AM: Absolutely agree with every word.
