As far as I know, the page ends need a "double click" now - previously, a single click was sufficient. Yes, I have been using the Web Layout as a workaround. But as I'm sure you know, it's not a perfect solution. Plus I have been unable to find a way to make Writer automatically open with Web Layout selected.
