So to keep you update, a member of the FR team will work on this comparison on the wiki and I'll do the translation as it goes. This then could be linked to the FAQ and serve as a reference for the help files modification. Re: [libreoffice-design] Blogpost about menu changes
Thanks for the update. Comparison is not easy since Jay started at 4.2, did a lot for 4.4 and some massive changes from 5.0 to 5.1. I tried to compare 4.4.7.2 (Linux stable in Arch) with some 5.1 alpha, and that's also difficult because you deal with moving items within the same menu, into/outta submenus, to other menus, and with renaming. Just to mention it. In the blog post we take it easy by just talking about examples. The work is ongoing, by the way, and will be finished this week. So the decision about publication should be possible on Friday. 2016-01-20 12:31 GMT+01:00 Sophie: > Hi all, > Le 18/01/2016 16:04, Cor Nouws a écrit : > > Dear Heiko, > > > > Heiko Tietze wrote on 18-01-16 15:30: > > > >> [...] Since we speak with one voice I'd like to ask you to > >> proof-read, comment, and improve the draft. > >> > >> > https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QBHc3Kq7iXwfodNTjj1-DPujpr2WTZKwRvtOgrWqZJ0/edit?usp=sharing > > > > Thanks a lot for putting this together! > > I've added some remarks in the document. > > All in all a great overview of the work and intentions and result. > > Though I'm not happy with every detail of the work: very nice :) > > > > I've read of people wishing there is a OLD<>NEW overview for the various > > modules, so I hope to see that somewhere / sometimes too. > > So to keep you update, a member of the FR team will work on this > comparison on the wiki and I'll do the translation as it goes. I've added some remarks in the document. All in all a great overview of the work and intentions and result. Though I'm not happy with every detail of the work: very nice :) I've read of people wishing there is a OLD<>NEW overview for the various modules, so I hope to see that somewhere / sometimes too. I'll try to find some volunteers in the FR community to do that, even in French, it should be easy and quick to translate once done.
