I am not a translator and I don't use translated software myself, I contribute to translations only occasionally. For the last few releases Alexandu Szasz did the countdown translation (he's maintaining the Fedora translation), probably he was busy or just not aware, but I am sure you can do it yourself, since there are just a couple o strings. For everyone else not understanding this dialogue: both me, Cata and Alexandru are Romanian contributors, each with his own area of interest. 2010/4/6 Nicu Buculei On 04/06/2010 06:11 PM, Alexander Smirnov wrote: Last week i sended message to translators list. Without the source code is impossible for the rest of the team to work on your images and modify/improve them if needed. Feel Free to watch them or download them, I also upload both banners in this mail, They're two banners in .png format with transparent background and the desired size (44x22) Please, *never ever* attach such huge files to a mailing list, not everybody is on a fast connection and not everybody wants to fill his Inbox with 6MB of content he may never use. The page I wrote is posted here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Pfrields/Desktop_user_experience_design ers Are there places in that page where I could more explicitly outline the work the Design team does regularly with other teams that affects the look and feel of the Fedora distribution? Hi Paul, I wouldn't limit the scope of this project only on Desktop SIG - it's a big but not only the one consumer of UX design. But of course other projects should work together with UX and desktop team together. You're right about the scope of Design work, Jaroslav. The page I wrote is not a definition of the Design team's work, but an answer to a specific question that was posed to the Board. So it's necessarily limited in scope to (hopefully) do a good job of answering that specific question. But a lot of the discussion in that page draws from the history and practice on the Design team of working with many other parts of Fedora. If anyone wants to draw out pieces to put on the Design team's main wiki page (or anywhere else that makes sense), I'd encourage it. -- Paul W. Thanks for the files Manuel, but these aren't full sources. If you did work in Inkscape to produce the PNG, you would supply those original SVG files. If you did the work in Gimp, you would supply the original XCF files, along with information on any of the photographic sources or brushes you used. These files appear to be a link embedded in an SVG file, so unfortunately they're not useful to artists who want to collaborate with you. Can you remove these SVG attachments in the ticket, and provide the true original material? Thanks! About why did I attached them in a Mail is because I thought that The Sources Part was about giving the Original Artwork to the Designers, I tought that attaching them was the better idea, but thank's for the clearing...
