The logo usage guidelines seems OK, the copyright disclaimer seems OK, still: - the wordmark is blurry, have you used a resized bitmap instead of a vector source? if so, go to http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo and ask for an SVG; - I feel the "12" is too tick, use a normal font, not bold, and add a blue stroke; - the "installation DVD" text is too close to the right edge, giving an unbalanced look to the composition. -- nicu :: http://nicubunu.ro :: http://nicubunu.blogspot.com/ ___ design-team mailing list design-team@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/design-team
[Design-team] Design Suite spin page: current progress (HTML template applied)
I took the content from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design_Suite#Spins_Page and put it into the HTML template to see what it would look like: http://mchua.fedorapeople.org/spins/designsuite_spinpage.html We're lacking images/screenshots and an About section, as described in https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Spin_webpage_creation_SOP. I seem to recall some students from Allegheny posting notes/application reviews that could be turned into an "About" section similar to http://spins.fedoraproject.org/kde/#about - anyone know where those are? A look through the (design-team) list archives doesn't turn up anything for me, but I may have overlooked it. --Mel ___ design-team mailing list design-team@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/design-team

Re: [Design-team] 13 anaconda banner mockup
Nice! Very stylish and clean I like the subdued, brushed-metal look. I agree that the contrast between the F-logo and the 13 is a bit stark. I'd make the logo a bit more de-saturated, maybe fading a bit into the background as well. If that is possible, dunno about possible logo guidelines against this... Nice work! Fab # Fabian A.
