There is also Arista 2.0 but I don't think the license is compatible with Fedora guideline. P.S: I am working on a French speaking Fedora community magazine which is matching the quoted outlook. It is expected to be released next week featuring a cover page of F13 Goddard wallpaper. We need initiate a project vision/ strategy. This part of this process may involved extensive public and community input. Wow! Default Droid fonts for F14 would be so amazing! Hope we can get that sorted! :) Fab On 7 Jun 2010 18:29, "Paul W. [Design-team] Fluxbox style
Hi Design Team! I am a long-time Fluxbox user and recent Fedora convert who miss an official Fedora style for Fluxbox. I have been playing around with the colour palette from the Icon guidelines available over at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Artwork/EchoIconGuidelines to create a minimalistic (in the traditional spirit of fluxbox) yet appealing look with a familiar "Fedora feel" to it. For speed and responsiveness, I have chosen not to use pixmaps at all but will stick to the native colour and gradient rendering in Fluxbox which is easily specified with RGB codes. However, I have a question: The Clearlooks Metacity the Fedora icon themes clearly go hand in hand in terms of the soft blue tones (are they based on the Tango palette?). I am using the "Fedora Blues" for the windows and toolbar in my draft but the colours look a tad bit off compared to icons, scrollbar and other blueish widgets on the Gnome/Gtk desktop. So here it goes: when creating a style from scratch like this with the aim of inclusion in Fedora, should I prioritize an "official" Fedora trademark palette (if there is one), which boosts the Fedora identity, or the palette which integrates best with the default widgets and icons (which I presume results in the smoothest experience for the user)? A draft for the theme is available here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1879450/Fedora/Fluxbox/fedora/theme.cfg And a screenshot can be found here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1879450/Fedora/Fluxbox/fedora/1920x1200_fedora_fluxbox.png Best regards, Andreas ___ design-team mailing list design-team@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/design-team
