Then I imported it into mypaint and used mypaint's brushes to add some electricity-like effects and then exported the effects as transparent layers back into gimp. Do you think this is something we could use for beta? Or is it the wrong direction? I sent a note some time ago I think a month ago. I said they do not have powerful hardware ... I told him my opinion ... you should fill the gap and try a glass effect. Frankly, they start with a concept I have some evolution of its variants. Personally I think it's a waste of resources. Another idea is to create some package with icons for new software. I use blender 2.5 and i change the old icon to add on panel . These icons will be put in one folder named new soft. In this case it's lightscribe software or another software when we need some icons for Create Launcer The folder /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/ is almost empty ( app is only with some icons but that is for specific software - like glchess...)
