I have motion graphics experience. I'm a bit tight on the amount of time I
would be able to commit to it but if you want to pass on the details.

[Design-team] Re: Wished I would have such resources

2019-05-04 Thread Micah Denn
I'm not sure prize incentives would give us much of an increase in quality
contributions right now.
It would be more beneficial to re-examine how we reach out to the community
for feedback. It's not useful for us to find out whether people like the
wallpaper after the release has already happened.

[Design-team] Re: Meeting times

2018-10-09 Thread Micah Denn
I feel one of the issues is that the meetings mostly boil down to just
checking on the open tickets and the discussion doesn't really extend
beyond anything that can't be said in pagure or on the mailing list.

[Design-team] Re: Pagure Migration

2016-10-25 Thread Micah Denn
It looks like Pagure releases only allows for tarballs up to 4MB.

Maybe we can ask for permission to upload bigger files? Otherwise we'll have to
find somewhere else to put them.

Yes notifications should be working. I don't know if we are read to move
completely yet. I just offered to handle migrating the tickets. mizmo any ideas?

Luya where did you upload the tarball? If it was attached to a ticket it should
be there already.

I finally managed to get all our tickets migrated over to Pagure.

Can you please check your open tickets to make sure all your attachments etc
made it over.

Sorry for the spam in IRC, I forgot to disable fedmsg :)

Re: [Design-team] Introduction

2015-05-18 Thread Micah Denn
Hi Chris,

Welcome to the team! Have you read -
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_Design_Team

Would be a good idea to introduce yourself on IRC (#fedora-design on
irc.freenode.net). We have a meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:00 to 13:00
US/Eastern, if you can make it.

On 18 May 2015 at 14:27, Christopher Wambugu ch...@enmowe.com wrote:

 Hello,

I'm Chris (full name Christopher Mwai Wambugu) from Kenya. I'm a 23 year
old software developer and a graphic designer, a combination that has seen
me take on the role of a UX/UI designer at most of the projects I've been a
part of. I'm also currently a continuing University student at Kenya
Methodist University pursuing a Bsc. Computer Information Systems degree. I
have 5 years of experience as a programmer and 4 as a UI/UX designer. I
would like to be a member of the Fedora Project's design team, a place I
believe I can make a valuable contribution to the open source project. I
would appreciate any opportunity, however small or big, that I would be
given to make a contribution. This is my first attempt at a project of such
scale. I would appreciate all the advice I can get.

 Kind regards.
