This list unfortunately is not the right place to request the logo. Please
check out

And follow the instructions there - we have to follow this process.

Hi Máirín,
Cantarell is the standard UI font for GNOME. I made several enhancements to it
in the past.. 2 years I think and redesigned it for 3.28, so you'll see it on
e.g. https://help.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.28/. It got pulled from Fedora
28 though due to missing Cyrillics I think, which I'm still working on.

You can build the fonts yourself if you want to have a look:

 Hi Nikolaus,

Do you need to join a group to get wiki editing privileges?

We have a process everyone follows to join the Design team, and as anyone is
else you are more than welcome to join and follow the steps and we'll grant you
membership.

The process is on our wiki page:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design

We require a task to be completed to join. I'm not familiar with your work with
Cantarell but if you can send me some reference(s) to it I think font work
would qualify.

Cheers,

Digging further. I found svgo is already available as rust-svgo so it is
possible to install it to effectively use the command. svgo-inkscape
just needs to redirect the correct
path of binary yet somehow the patch failed for some odd reasons.

I took a look at svgcleaner which I currently work on packaging it but
it needs more dependencies not available in the repository. It might
take a while.

[Design-team] Re: request for Design Suite

2018-02-18 Thread S.Kemter

Hi,

I had last night the time to check some things in Inkscape and with
cleaning the code. The development of svgo stopped as the Inkscape "save
as" optimized svg has now better results. I

I used Mo's grey scaled pattern from

https://github.com/fedoradesign/nextweb-assets

for the test. I brought it down to 612KB from originally 1.9MB

so the only win using svgo would be to have a shortcut in the menu, as
the "optimized svg" is a lot of scrolling in the save as dialog.

I understand you very well.

Yes! I think the last meeting has set most of the tickets to the
fedora design team members.
Any meeting changes can also put on fedora design list if I don't online.

Most of the members follow the the rules fedora design and give some
help is not wrong.
Is one ticket has a legal issue with python logo and this will need to
fix by the design team - I don't remember the ticket, also any problem
can be put on table.

If you have some concern then you can loot to this ticket ( see:
https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/421 where for example is
one reference to: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo/UsageGuidelines
also some changes.

Yes. Summary of meeting can help us. - "the goal of understanding the
team's process for working on tasks."

You told me : "It creates confusion about who has taken the assignment."
Have you ? Do you see my ticket and what I need to do ? Can you help me?

Any problem with my work can be solved by sending a mail to me and duffy.

Thank you for replay.

Hi Yogi,

It does seem to be along the same direction we have been moving in. I
think Suchakra, Anuradha and I would like to catch up about the
project the coming weekend or so, shall we co-ordinate over personal
email? We can use the design team IRC or an audio call set up like
Suchakra, Anuradha and I usually do. Once we have the time/setup
decided, let's also update the group here so they can join as well if
they'd like.

Thanks!
