You can add comments at http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=19777 Ubuntu | gtk+2.0 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-01-16 21:29 UTC --- Hi, just wanted to tell that I also experience this same exact behaviour on my amd64 breezy. I can repeat this at all times on GIMP with File Save. I created a simple test app that only spawns file selector but it works as expected. This affects quite a few programs on my Gnome-desktop so I hope the reason is found soon. Meanwhile I'll try to debug and if I find something I'll write it here.. [Bug 28714] Window menu is different than the one presented by Metacity
Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/28714 Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: If you right-click on a window title bar, the menu includes items like Move to Workspace Right and/or Move to Workspace Down, but if you right-click on a window icon(?) on the gnome-panel, the menu that pops up doesn't include these entries which are quite useful. [Bug 28715] Search tab is useless, make it a search bar
Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/28715 Affects: devhelp (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: Having the search box/list in a separate tab makes browsing the devel- docs quite difficult. I've noticed that search already auto-completes (meaning, when you search for something, the results list is immediately filled with results). Given that devhelp has a huge toolbar for a couple of buttons, a better use for the toolbar would be to have a search box, similar to a browser's location bar where the user can type the search keywords and the dropdown would show the matches. Devhelp is very, very useful for new developers like myself and it could use some overhaul. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com http://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
