I had no problems configuring it for the wireless network in university. I use a Cisco vpn client for accessing the internet. I compiled it with kernel source for i386 from Flight4. I was surfing the internet without problems. But then I openend the gnome-netstatus-applet again because I wanted to change an option and my notebook had a total lock. My keyboard was dead and also the system cause the clock didn't function any more. So this bug does not always happen. [Bug 32286] Gnome panel is gone - GConf problem?
