Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35962 Task: ubuntu gnome-panel Assignee: (unassigned) = Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Unconfirmed = Rejected Comment: Thanks for your bug. We use a corner because they are easy to aim with the mouse. Placing 2 icons to a corner defeat that purpose. The corner you want to use already has the trash applet so it would do the trick. Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35962 Comment: Thanks Sebastien for the quick answer. /me understands. Just FYI... In fact, at the very end I'm logging out pushing the own login/out button the laptop has next to the keyboard, whick works perfectly making the same dialog popup... So maybe a user like me should simply remove that logout applet from the panel (it doesn't appear in the default GNOME desktop, ins't it) and problem solved. As always, the problem with usability testing is to deduce how normal/frequent is your own case. :) Which list do you recommend to discuss this? [Bug 33707] Drag-drop from file roller drops to the wrong place
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/33707 Comment: This seems to be more of a gnome/nautlus problem than file-roller. It seems that the folder to which the file is being dragged is not recieving the focus at all, instead the main nautilus window gets the focus and that is the where the file is dropped instead of the intended folder. I haven't checked but file-roller would get the focus window from gnome/nautlus and simply extract the file there.
