[Bug 84471] [apport] gnome-sudoku crashed with KeyError in entry_validate()
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-games I play Sudoku almost completely manually (i.e. I don't use hints or fills). The whole game does not crash after the crash report dialog comes up. The only thing that seems to stop working is that the game does not register that I have finished the game. Since the game is saved as you go along closing the window and restarting the program allows me to start from where I left off and it will register the game being finished after the restart. [Bug 75858] Re: regression: png to postscript -> black image
I am using Dapper, but see a black image on both postscript output files (using Document Viewer). I have been experiencing an issue which may be related: Since install, I have had a problem in certain software when trying to print png images (particularly with transparency), I particularly noticed it with a document I created in OpenOffice.org which contained a montage of several images (.png files with transparent backgrounds). This printed with no problems from OOo. However, when I exported the document to pdf, although it displayed correctly on the screen the individual images were printed with solid backgrounds - some black and some white. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel I've switched my theme to a darker one. The panel has also get a darker colour. The whole panel is using this colour except the Window Selector applet which uses the a light grey. This way it sticks out from the panel and the surrounding applets. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Window Selector applet doesn't use the same background colour as the other applets https://launchpad.net/bugs/84379 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 84363] nautilus can't remount non-removable media
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Nautilus can unmount non-removable media like NTFS-partitions through the desktop or via the file manager. However it can't mount them back on because pmount complains: error: device /dev/hda2 is not removable error: could not execute pmount It would seem consistent that mounting non-removables would be possible. Either via pmount or by executing the regular mount command (think of users that accidentally unmount their drives and then panic when the drive won't come back) ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- nautilus can't remount non-removable media https://launchpad.net/bugs/84363 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 84364] Totem crash when saving a PlayList
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem I was playing a playlist and i had firefox and nautilos opened. WHen i tried to save the plylist, totem hanged and i tried to launch gnome- system-manager from the applet to kill totem. But it dont worked: the applet said: Iniciando Monitor del Sistema(Opening System Monitor) and it disappeares, but without showing the monitor. I discovered that i cant launch any application and i could only use the opened firefox and the opened nautilus. I rebooted from tty and all is ok, but i think this is a important bug. ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Totem crash when saving a PlayList https://launchpad.net/bugs/84364 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Daniel, it's still open because apparently upstream broke the change when merging some new code Comment from upstream: "I'm not sure that this is correct. [Bug 75816] Re: File-roller
I believe this bug appears in Turkish localizations only. File roller sometimes gives -idp error and couldn't open rar files. I have same problem on my Debian installed, Turkish localized machine. Same rars doesn't extract because of this error using file roller. This is all about Turkish big i problem. In Turkish "i" is a different character when it is uppercase (i->İ)(ı->I)(For more info : http://www.i18nguy.com/unicode/turkish-i18n.html). Talat wrote a patch to solve this problem in Turkish localizations for file roller. I believe file roller developers must solve this problem using this patch. -- File-roller https://launchpad.net/bugs/75816 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 84346] Font rendering bug in Gnome Control Centre sidebar
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center The "Group" selection buttons in gnome-control-center render with little jagged edges, as if hinting was turned off for them. The rest of the control centre uses the desktop wide hinting (I haven't changed it from the install default). However, when I mouseover a button the rendering looks correct and as soon as the mouse leaves the button it is back to jaggies. No other button on my system behaves like that, so it doesn't appear to be a gtk bug. Always reproducible.
