[Bug 85725] Add a setting to hide the launchpad menu items
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: liblaunchpad-integration0 It's good to have launchpad integration, but some people might want to hide them (for example, when they want to show an upstream desktop, or if they disagree with the use of launchpad for some reason). There should be a global gconf key that this lib would look at to know whether the menu items should be added or not. ** Affects: launchpad-integration (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Add a setting to hide the launchpad menu items https://launchpad.net/bugs/85725 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I think when you launch an application with gksu, it be save the actual user session environment . for example, when you execute su user you change the user but all session environment don't change and when you execute su - user then the session environment change to the user logged. [Bug 85821] Feisty Herd4: Cancel button in gnome-screenshot app.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-utils Hi, 1) Gnome-screenshot application could be slightly improved. Took a screenshot. I want to save the screenshot but the file already exists. I press the Cancel-button to cancel the action but the application terminates and I loose the shot. It's not what the user expects. Cancel should revert the previous action, not to quit the whole application. 2) Alacarte menu editor should have a menu, as described in GNOME's HIG. http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/ Alacarte looks weird and menuless. Eg. help-menu has normally many important options: Translate this app, Report a bug, About Program version etc.. Drag drop does not work in Alacarte. [Bug 85834] Evolution alarm notify should not autostart in KDE
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution evolution-alarm-notify gets automatically started in KDE sessions. This is usually unwished for because KDE comes with it's own alarm notification system.
