[Bug 78343] Re: gnome-terminal mouse performance slow on feisty
I also see the same problem, in fact even more problems, and in fact with both gnome-terminal and xfce4-terminal. All these happened since I upgraded to Herd 3, and still persists till now. General slowness with gnome-terminal is one thing. Sometimes typing a character to the shell takes a second to appear. Selecting with mouse is also very slow, especially when it involves scrolling. Scrolling by Shift-Up/Down is also very slow. Sometimes, I see broken characters (yes, part of the character is missing) inside the terminal, but when I select the text, the characters become alright. Hum, do you still have the problem? [Bug 13986] Re: MP3/AAC not offered as encoding formats in Preferences, even with encoders+gstreamer plugins for these installed
I now see the profiles listed in /system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/profiles, but they're not added to /system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/global/profile_list, and they don't show up in g-a-p-p until they're added to that list. -- MP3/AAC not offered as encoding formats in Preferences, even with encoders+gstreamer plugins for these installed https://launchpad.net/bugs/13986 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 87360] gnome-audio-profiles-properties edit window gradually resizes with AAC profile
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media When using g-a-p-p to edit the CD Quality, AAC profile, the edit window gradually gets widerapparently as the Profile description field is re-wrapped. It does eventually decide on a final dimension, but it would be better if the dimension were calculated before the window was actually resized instead of dynamically/iteratively. ** Affects: gnome-media (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- gnome-audio-profiles-properties edit window gradually resizes with AAC profile https://launchpad.net/bugs/87360 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 87343] Re: British localisation spelling
That's a problem (if it's really a problem) in Ubuntu, not launchpad or Rosetta. I don't think it's really a bug there, but just something that should be 'translated' from the English used in the application to en_GB, once we open Feisty for translations (I hope next week) go to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/feisty/+lang/en_GB and help that team (https://beta.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-en-gb) to improve the spelling for British English. Cheers. ** Also affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Changed in: rosetta (upstream) Status: Needs Info = Rejected -- British localisation spelling https://launchpad.net/bugs/87343 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
