[Bug 122506] totem crashed with signal 5 in g_logv()

2007-06-27 Thread JoergMechnich
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: totem

Could be that it is a problem with libxine and XVideo because xine is
crashing as well.

Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'totem' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 42 error_code 8 request_code 141 minor_code 14)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
aborting...

[Bug 122533] mixer_applet2 2.18.0 odd behaviour

2007-06-27 Thread Zenigata
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

The mixer applet seems to not control the same thing than when you
actually open the mixer.

It is supposed to control PCM, but if I change something in the mixer,
then the applet still display the old thing, then, if I change something
in the applet, the mixer reports that nothing has changed.

I tried to change the channel controlled by the applet, but event
thought the applet shows the news choice in the perferences tab, it
keeps pretend to control the PCM channel (and does not control anything
ot seems.)

[Bug 49340] Re: Forgets "Fit Page Width" option on each click on the index

2007-06-27 Thread Infodroid
sorry, but this is not fixed yet.

i am still experiencing this problem with ubuntu feisty. i have a pdf
which i set my layout to "page width". whenever i click an entry in the
index on the left-hand side the layout changes to "best fit".

every time i click a link, i have to change the layout back to page
width, my preferred way of reading this particular ebook.

using an example that is already mentioned, if you download flyspeck.zip
provided by Gaëtan de Menten, you will notice that
"handout2-skills.pdf", among others, will force 125% page layout.

however the first file in this archive "handout1-classes.pdf" has no
such problem.

[Bug 122270] Re: [deskbar-applet] Choosing "show only primary search engine" doesn't work

2007-06-27 Thread zegnus
Hi!

I have solved the problem changing the parameter:

PRIMARY_SEARCH_ENGINE = None

for this:

PRIMARY_SEARCH_ENGINE = "Google"

in my file:

/usr/lib/deskbar-applet/handlers/mozilla.py

I add that the problem is not linked with the FIRST search engine of the
firefox list, because if I move Google to the third position (for
example), and I select Google, the property:

user_pref("browser.search.selectedEngine", "Google");

DON'T appear in prefs.js file and for this, I think that the problem is
directly related with Google.

[Bug 49340] Re: Forgets "Fit Page Width" option on each click on the index

2007-06-27 Thread Marius Gedminas
FWIW the index (called "document outline" by the PDF spec) entries
define the zoom level, as well as the page to be displayed and the
window scroll position on that page. See section 8.2.1 of the PDF
reference, available at
.  It could be
argued that changing the zoom level when you click on an outline entry
is the right thing to do (it's what the document's author specified),
although many users will probably find it annoying.

Refreshing the document, however, definitely should not change the zoom
level.
