[Bug 135650] Re: GIMP crashes when trying to resize an image.
Almost all dialogs crash without G_SLICE=always-malloc here. I’ve been fighting with gimp’s internal functionality that catches crashes and prints stack traces. I just can’t seem to turn it off. gimp --stack-trace-mode=never doesn’t seem to work. Because of that, apport doesn’t detect the crashes and using gdb is difficult. I haven’t tried to valgrind gimp yet, but i’d guess gimp’s crash catching hinders even its reports. 1. I logged in to a recently updated machine. I created a new folder. I tried to type the name of the forlder. Nothing happened. 2. I expected what I typed to be entered into the field for the folder name. 3. Nothing happened. There was no input. Typing in other programs, however, worked fine. [Bug 136235] Re: Freeze when mounting firewire 400 FAT 32drive in gutsy
My bad. It seems it does not really freeze; if you wait about forty seconds, it actually manages to display the content the first time without need to force quit and restart. Here is the log anyway. I'm not sure it's good because it's the first time I do this. ** Attachment added: gdb-gnome-volume-manager.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9081364/gdb-gnome-volume-manager.txt -- Freeze when mounting firewire 400 FAT 32drive in gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136235 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-volume-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 136439] Re: --stack-trace-mode doesn’ t seem to work
‘--stack-trace-mode never’ doesn’t work, it’s as simple as that. I don’t believe my debugging intentions or someone’s misunderstanding of them matters regarding the validity of this bug report. [Bug 136471] gnome-appearance consumes all cpu time
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome I use Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon and whenever I want to change the appearance of gnome, the gnome-appearance process consumes all cpu time. I have to kill it explicitly to make thie system usable again. I recognized that the tab Theme (translated from german) only shows the preview of the Clearlooks theme. All other themes are shown with a ?. My assumption is that gnome-appearance wants to create a preview for all themes but gets stuck in an endless loop (or something like that). ** Affects: meta-gnome2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-appearance consumes all cpu time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136471 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for meta-gnome2 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
