Re: [Bug 73744] Re: rhythmbox is slow!
I still experience this issue on a current Hardy system (all updates accepted since it was originally installed), on an Intel Pentium M laptop (Dell Latitude D610). When the CPU usage reaches a certain threshold, the CPU usage of rhythmbox and pulsaudio increases to take up the rest of the capacity, and sound turns choppy. If I kill the other CPU usage, the CPU usage of rhythmbox and pulseaudio goes down, and can once more play sound normally. Applications that have caused this behaviour on my system, are operapluginwrapper when having Opera open on a newspaper page with lots of flash ads, or maven builds. -- rhythmbox is slow! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/73744 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 30692] Re: Evolution appears in two - Internet and Office - menus with different icons and labels
This is my first debdiff, but this removes the Evolution entry from Internet (as well as the duplicate entry in alacarte mentioned above). The reason I removed that was because it was added in debian/ so this is closer to upstream. If this approach isn't the best, perhaps we could still eliminate the extra .desktop files, but just change the category of the upstream version from Office(?) to Network. ** Attachment added: "Debdiff to eliminate the Evolution under "Office"" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/17106908/evolution_2.22.3.1-0ubuntu2.debdiff -- Evolution appears in two - Internet and Office - menus with different icons and labels https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/30692 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 219267] Re: burning DVD iso fails, destroying DVD
Hi der_vegi, If you get a chance and are willing to test, would you care to confirm if this is still an issue with the latest Alpha for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 which contains a 2.6.26 kernel (soon to possibly be 2.6.27) - http://www.ubuntu.com/testing. I know you commented this was resolved with the upstream 2.6.25 and 2.6.24.5 kernels so I'm curious if it still affects the updated Ubuntu Intrepid kernel. In the mean time I'll also open the Hardy nomination for the kernel team to take a look and consider fixing for Hardy.
