[Bug 285782] Re: Evolution does not preserve outgoing SMTP Password
I have the same problem with 8.10. I tried a new user (The Guest one) as you suggested Pedro but no luck. When setting the account up, It is strange that for the IMAP password it asks you if you want to save it, but for the SMTP password only asks you if you want to save the password for the session. For some reason the password gets stored in the keyring when it is IMAP but it does not when it comes to the SMTP password. -- Evolution does not preserve outgoing SMTP Password https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285782 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Yes, the patch was tested. lbmount is run setuid root indeed, but pwent contains real user information, not effective user information (it does call "pwent = getpwuid(uidReal)" previously), so the directory will be owned by the correct user. -- should not list mounts that the user doesn't have permission to use https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/210379 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is the registrant for gvfs. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 286762] [NEW] Does not display CD Text
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox I created an 10-track anthology of music by Samuel Barber using Brasero. Brasero wrote out the CD Text I had prepared, as verified using K3B, but Rhythmbox does not display it. I supplied Title, Artist, and Composer fields per track plus a Title for the album in Brasero, but neither Artist nor Album shows in the Rhythmbox display. It seems Rhythmbox is trying (unsuccessfully) to get this data from an online database instead of using the CD Text itself. Of course such a CD isn't in Musicbrainz! Maybe this is really a feature request, but I think failing to display the CD Text when it's available is a bug, pure and simple. This bug was fixed in the package libsoup2.4 - 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 --- libsoup2.4 (2.24.1-0ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low * New upstream version: - Fixed a crash when unreffing the session from a soup_session_queue_message() callback, and added regression test. In particular, this fixes a crash in seahorse when trying to connect to a non-responsive keyserver. (lp: #198562) - Fixed an infinite loop when giving a bad password to a site that uses non-standard capitalization in the WWW-Authenticate header (eg, gmail.com). - Fixed a leak in SoupSessionAsync when using a non-default GMainContext. Added additional code to the regression tests to make sure sessions * and servers do not get leaked. - Fixed a leak in the XML-RPC code - Compile fixes for "gcc -pedantic" and -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED / -DG_DISABLE_SINGLE_INCLUDES - Patched xmlrpc-test to accept the incorrect response to test_echo() that php-xmlrpc gives when it's built against libxml2 >= 2.7.1 (qv http://bugs.php.net/45996), so that I can "make distcheck"... - Updated generated documentation -- Sebastien Bacher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Tue, 21 Oct 2008 00:25:33 +0200 ** Changed in: libsoup2.4 (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed => Fix Released -- seahorse crashed with SIGSEGV in g_value_peek_pointer() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198562 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 278078] Re: The key repeat delay for the "down-arrow", "left-arrow", and "End" keys is longer than the other keys
** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon I'm testing Intrepid beta, upgraded from Hardy. When I press & hold the "down-arrow" key, or the "left-arrow" key, or the "End" key, the delay (until the key starts to repeat) is longer than the rest of the keys in the keyboard. I have to hold these keys pressed more time in order to get repetition. The issue, however, don't appear when you use the down-arrow key in the keypad (the "2" key), or the left-arrow in the keypad (the "4" key), or the "End" key in the keypad (the "1" key). I'm using a Spanish keyboard. In Layouts tab on "Keyboard Preferences" dialog, I have the following: - Keyboard model: Generic 105-key (Intl) PC - Selected layouts: Spain (default) To test it, try the following: 1. Go to System->Preferences->Keyboard. 2. Go to Layouts tab. 3. Check "Key presses repeat when key is held down" chekbox. 4. Move the Delay rule to the very left (near to "Short" label). 5. Now, press and hold the arrow (cursor) keys. You can see that the up-arrow and right-arrow keys works OK, but you need to hold left-arrow, down-arrow and End keys more time to get the repetition work. It's a very irritating bug! + + ANOTHER (EASIER) METHOD TO REPRODUCE: + + 1. $ xset r rate 10 50 + 2. Press and hold any printable key. + 3. Now, move the cursor back and forth using the left and right cursor keys. You can see the left key is clearly slower than the right key. Using the down-arrow key or the End key produces the same issue. -- The key repeat delay for the "down-arrow", "left-arrow", and "End" keys is longer than the other keys https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278078 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
