[Bug 303604] [NEW] rhythmbox could not open resource for reading
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox I recently tried to use Rhythmbox to play music files that are on a WinXP share, that had previously been added to the Rhythmbox library. Each file that I attempt to play generates an "unknown error" message. If I try to "Import from a folder", I can browse to the folder, but then each file generates the "Could not open resource for reading" error. I can browse to WinXP share, successfully mount it, and I can double-click files and they will play in the Totem Movie Player. I was able to play these MP3 files before. This is the first time I've tried playing them since upgrading from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10. [Bug 303528] Re: Message Filters for IMAP point to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I can confirm, and I am marking it as triaged. I noticed it some time ago on trunk, but never really paid attention until Jared sent an email to evolution-list. So, at least it affects 2.24.2 onwards. Jared's explanation is pretty much it: set a filter targeting an IMAP folder (action "move to folder"). Save it. Look at the ./evolution/mail/filters.xml, and the newly-created filter has a target URI pointing to [EMAIL PROTECTED], instead of the correct IMAP account. You can find the correct IMAP account by running on a terminal: gconftool-2 -g /apps/evolution/mail/accounts Or (if you do not want to browse through all of the output, this: gconftool-2 -g /apps/evolution/mail/accounts | awk -F '=' '{print $2 $3}' ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: New => Triaged ** Summary changed: - Message Filters for IMAP point to [EMAIL PROTECTED] + Message Filters targeting IMAP folders point to [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Message Filters targeting IMAP folders point to [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303528 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero First noticed this bug on 8.04, still present in 8.10. Brasero reports: "Insufficient space on media (0 available for 357796)." The log is attached. [Bug 293725] [NEW] Gnome Panel dissappears with dual screen configuration
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Boot up Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex latest packages as of Nov 3 with dual monitors. GDM login looks fine (duplicated on both screens), but when log in nothing is displayed. The default background is a bit corrupted but no Gnome Panel drawn. If I unplug the second monitor and CTRL-ALT- BKSP restart X11 login things are fine with single screen. If I then plug in the second monitor, go into System->Preferences->Screen Resolution to turn it on, the problem is repeated. Main Monitor: Laptop LCD: 1400x1050 resolution. Second Monitor: VGA 1600x1200 resolution. Dual Monitor configuration: non-cloned, Second Monitor to left of Laptop LCD. Other Configuration Information that may be relevant: 1. I switched my Window Manager to xfwm4 (install xfwm4, then go to gconf-editor desktop->gnome->session->required_components to change to /bin/xfwm4) 2. I edited the default panels to remove the bottom one and put everything I care about on the top one. Panel shows on the Laptop LCD screen. After configuring the system as above, with dual-monitors and xfwm4, things look fine at first. Dual monitor support looks fine. Then power down the machine. Power it back up, and the problem then happens. p.s. [Bug 295795] Re: ISO burn on Intrepid with Brasero will not mount
Burning Fedora 10 Live (i686 and x86_64) with Brasero 0.8.2 gives no errors during burning but the resulting disks fail the integrated checksum test of Fedora. When trying to mount these disks in Ubuntu 8.10 one obtains the "L-EC uncorrectable error" error messages already mentionend above. When burning both Live CDs with K3b 1.0.5 they pass Fedora's internal test and mount cleanly in Ubuntu 8.10. Therefore I would conclude that there really exists a problem with Brasero 0.8.2. -- ISO burn on Intrepid with Brasero will not mount https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/295795 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 303528] [NEW] Message Filters for IMAP point to lo...@local
Public bug reported: 1) 8.10 2) evolution-2.24.2-0ubuntu1 3) I created a filter based on a mailing list whose action is to move the message to a folder on an imap. When attempting to apply the filter manually (via ctrl+y), the filter fails to apply resulting in an error in the status bar. 4) What is actually happening is that in the filter.xml file the filter is not being recorded with the proper account information. Rather than having the proper account id in the uri, the [EMAIL PROTECTED] account is used instead. I imagine if the requested folder existed in the local folders, the filter would not fail, but this is not the case.
