Re: [Bug 321009] Re: 'Broken Pipe' in Evolution email
After composing email, when I hit 'Send/Receive' I get message box..."error while performing operation. Could not send message:broken pipe." I have been using evolution email each time I log into "twincitiesfreemarket.org" and replied to stuff online. It's easy, you just highlight their email address and evolution comes up. I thought I was getting thru w/ my emails. One day I tried to send out some pics and the message came back 'broken pipe'. It was at this time that I saw I had 29 unsent messages in outbox. Does this help? I also have issues w/ my java not loading. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a '.crash' file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. [Bug 333895] [NEW] Volume Info Patch Incorrect
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs The current xdg-volume-info patch in the gvfs package is slightly incorrect due to a small oversight. It should be looking for .xdg- volume-info insead of .volume-info, which it is currently looking for. This apparently made it into the patch without me catching it, as I was using .volume-info to test as I have a patched glib with a similar patch, which was rejected upstream, and which conflicts with this patch. [Bug 333857] [NEW] nautilus does not handle missing template folders well

[Bug 333808] [NEW] GTK Save window, going down every time it appears
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus To make easy to reproduce this error, just open the Firefox and click in some file to make download, it will open the "Save as" Nautilus dialog box. Observe the window position, than close that dialog box and click again on the link (file download) so it opens the "Save as" dialog box, and you'll see that this opens a little down. Make this for more times and you'll see that the dialog box, will going down until it touches the Gnome bar. I realized this error at my e-mail, where I have lot of things to download "Save as" or "Open". And the Nautilus "Save as" windows are going down and down. ** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- GTK Save window, going down every time it appears https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/333808 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I can confirm this. I syncronized contacts from my Windows Mobile to Evolution (via multisync-tools) and it doesn't display the mobile phone number in the contact list. Oops, apparently it was just that somehow Ctrl+Shift+C had become bound to "Copy". I'm pretty sure it wasn't bound that way before I upgraded. Anyway, it works fine having rebound that. [Bug 333794] [NEW] Unicode character input restricted to three hex digits
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal I've just noticed (this is a regression from Intrepid) that when I try to enter a four digit unicode character by means of the "Hold down Ctrl+Shift, type U, followed by hex digits, release Ctrl+Shift" method (specifically, 20AC == euro-currency symbol), that gnome-terminal only permits the entry of three hex digits. [Bug 320817] Re: F-spot CDExport dialog exceed 600 pixel height when the screen is small
Sorry, do you mean assign 0.7 as an argument? Or Height*0.7?? According to http://www.go-mono.com/docs/index.aspx?link=T%3aGtk.Window%2f* The Resize member function reads two int. I'm not sure if there's two float version of Resize. If there is, Resize(1.0,0.7) is better. But if we have to use Resize(int, int), it means we have to convert Height to float and *0.7 and convert it back to int which may not faster than two int operation *7 /10. I'm not familiar at C# and Mono so I'm not sure which one is real faster. But usually two int op is faster than one float op, right? -- F-spot CDExport dialog exceed 600 pixel height when the screen is small https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/320817 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
