[Bug 114341] Re: Disk Usage Analyzer does not detect files in the directory
I think I found my problem: There were some files that were supposed to be on the network. They were mounted in my home directory using pyNeighbourhood. I was using a backup program that was supposed to backup files to that location. I think it tried to backup when the backup computer was not mounted, so it copied the files in my home directory. Re: [Bug 483698] Re: AisleRiot spider game slows down then it aborts causing user to re log-in.
Ray, Most of the time, my machines do the same as your reported. Other times, I can tell the crash is coming because the card I'm moving starts to slow down, and even stopping the mouse does not prevent the crash. I've got Karmic Koala on several different machines and it does the same thing on all of them. So far, it's been little more than an annoyance, but I've started saving my work before "taking a break." Have you found any work around?? I'd been running without any problems since Dec10 with the v190 drivers at the nVidia repo at http://ppa.launchpad.net/nvidia-vdpau/ppa/ubuntu. Today I came into work to find that the v190 drivers were available from an Ubuntu repository. I had them running for about two hours before I encountered the same problem again. I would have figured that Ubuntu was just repackaging the drivers from nVidia, but clearly something different is happening. -- Screensaver disables visual effects https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 229370] Re: Regression: USB removable storage devices listed in fstab no longer show in "Computer"
Thank you for your input! However, the bugs you've assigned are actually bugs that were already fixed. It could be a bug in the patch that solved GNOME Bug #536292, I'll ask in that bug report for more information. ** Changed in: gvfs (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Triaged -- Regression: USB removable storage devices listed in fstab no longer show in "Computer" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 498275] Re: Eject button randomly does not work when an audio CD is inserted
I can't confirm this behaviour. Could you attach the output of the command 'devkit-disks --monitor-detail'? The commands monitors the disk activity and should be executed before you try to eject the disk. When you've tried often enough you can exit the monitor with Ctrl+C. If nothing useful shows up in the previous command, could you please repeat the same procedure, but now with the command 'gvfs-mount -oi' instead? Thanks in advance. -- Eject button randomly does not work when an audio CD is inserted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498275 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
