[Bug 507917] Re: Topics read as frame html content
I can confirm that Yelp does not work with Orca. I must admit I'm dissapointed that this bug has been given low priority, as the blind will not be able to access the Ubuntu help system until this is fixed. This problem is caused by yelp switching from gecko to webkit, and webkit remains non-accessible in any meaninful way. I recommend that Ubuntu downgrade yelp to the version used in Karmic until the webkit team can make significant progress. -- Topics read as frame html content https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/507917 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 525504] Re: All movie players crash when trying to open a video file.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a '.crash' file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 525337] Re: rhythmbox crashes while pluging ipod classic
[Bug 525722] [NEW] Low resolution because of Mirror screens mode is selected by default
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx Alpha 2 with today updates. Using nouveau nvidia driver with GeForce 7600GT. There are two monitors connected with different resolutions: 1280x1024 and 800x600 (DLP projector). After first boot, checkbox Mirror screens is enabled by default, hence resolution on both monitors is automatically set to 800x600. Why we need Mirror screen enabled by default? Why we need to choose lower resolution by default? Isn't better to switch off second monitor or expand to it, configuring both monitors to their native resolutions?
