RE: [Bug 763748] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_cclosure_marshal_VOID__BOXED()
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 746581 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/746581 As I wasn't sure you would react, I couldn 't give you more information. If usefull I will give you the end results: As I told the installation crashed when trying to install ubuntu manually on a customdefinned partition. In this Case an 80 GIB partition, divided in 2 parts of each 39,50 GIB. I had previouslly installed Ubuntu on 1 part and OpenSuSe on the other part. As so long I only had Ubuntu the boot process went fine and the multy boot menu with Windows 7 worked fine to. After installing OpenSuSe neither the boot process did work neither the menu (of course ). Using the old fashion Windows XP way, using it's CD, I could do the FIXMBR and later with Windows 7 Repair boot process. As so far it was OK. But as soon I did try to reinstall Ubuntu, to be able to have the Multy boot menu. I did recieve the errors, as you mentioned a bug #746581. Even when rebooting with the Ubuntu CD. Manually defining a partition seemed impossible. It always ascked for root files ??? But the sollution came when using the option installing Ubuntu alongside with other operating systems. You could choose the partition used with OpenSuSe, but not the one intended for Ubuntu. I took the risck and it worked. It did shortend the OpeSuse partition and it took for it self +/- 21 GIB for it self (Ext-, Swap- and its own partition. After rebooting I recieved a fine and nicelly working surprise, partlly unexpected. The boot menu was fixed, it included the 4 Ubuntu start ups, the Windows 7 start up and (this I didn 't expected ) 2 OpenSuSe startups. I tested them all and they all worked fine. An information I left behind is the fact I already had via Windows 7 a multy boot With Windows XP, Windows Vista and of course Windows 7. All these options work fine each on its own. I will continue to check/work both Linux versions, having been working and checking Windows for a long time. Linus is my new chalange. [Bug 737891] Re: [Arrandale] gnome-display-properties unable to correctly enable monitors connected to VGA
I have the same issue as Dustin. x201 on Ultrabase docking station, connected to a Samsung 225BW monitor. If I connect the laptop to my smallish 17 1280x1024 Sony, I manage to hook it up in dual display mode. But if I try to disable the laptop screen it fails with a black screen /cursor. So I can't really use it in single-screen mode on the docking station. If I connect the laptop to my widescreen Samsung 22, it directly goes to the parasited flashing screen effect. So it looks like there are two separate bugs, one of them being specific to large screens / Samsungs. This is also very similar to what Anmar described at bug 732050. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-desktop in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/737891 Title: [Arrandale] gnome-display-properties unable to correctly enable monitors connected to VGA -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 737891] Re: [Arrandale] gnome-display-properties unable to correctly enable monitors connected to VGA
I managed to get it kinda working. The flashing issue with the Samsung seemed to be in a stale monitors.xml file. Posting for reference: Boot laptop separate, then remove ~/.config/monitors.xml and /etc/gnome- settings-daemon/xrandr/monitors.xml Shutdown. Place laptop on Ultrabase. Boot, system comes up in cloned screens mode. gnome-display-properties, disable cloned mode, set monitor screen resolution, apply. We are now in dual head mode, with the unity launcher on the laptop screen. The only way to get it on the main screen seems to be to disable laptop screen. disable laptop screen, apply. The confirmation countdown apparently runs somewhere else and will revert your change in 30 seconds... unless you press apply again and confirm it. I still have to experiment on how I can make that setup stick... or work with the laptop lid closed on the Ultrabase.

[Bug 764577] [NEW] Wrong CSS highlighting for selector names that can also be value keywords
Public bug reported: Using libgtksourceview2 2.26.0-2ubuntu1 with Ubuntu 10.04. It seems as if gtk-source-view performs a mere search for strings without regard to context. In the case of a selector name: if you choose a name that can also be a property value it will be highlighted as if it were a property value and not like any other arbitrary selector name. Examples: span.class1 { padding: 0; } /* This is the regular highlighting of a selector */ pre.class2 { margin: 0; }/* The keyword 'pre' can also be a property value and thus is highlighted as such */ div.bottom { margin: 0; }/* The keyword 'bottom' can also be a property value and thus is highlighted as such */ div.hover { text-align: left; }/* The keyword 'hover' can also be a name for a pseudo-class */ div.lang { margin: 0; } /* The keyword 'lang' can also be an attribute of a selector */ div.white { padding:0; } /* The keyword 'white' can also be a color value */ ** Affects: gtksourceview2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtksourceview2 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/764577 Title: Wrong CSS highlighting for selector names that can also be value keywords -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 761068] Re: Evolution FAILED: Directory not empty after 2.30-2.32 (Natty) Upgrade
I don't think it's quite the same bug... This one has been fixed some time in January or February or so; so you shouldn't still be seeing empty directories such as 'task'. As for the old directories for email accounts, I'd venture this is also that something didn't quite get converted properly, even if all emails show in the directory. Unfortunately, now we don't really have a way to figure out what went wrong seeing as the offending directories were deleted. Do you remember if they contained anything? I'll mark this Invalid since we won't be able to reproduce the issue or diagnose what went wrong in the migration. Let's reopen if there's some other migration that fails or wait for another bug report about this.
