[Bug 807128] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. You might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 355180] Re: [jaunty] screen brightness dims on AC power despite config to leave at 100%
I use a Lenovo Y560 on Natty Narwhal. And I see this issue every time. Basically even if I set the brightness to 80-100% after a few seconds the brightness will automatically dim to 10-20%. Sometimes after the dim, the brightness will randomly go up again (without manual intervention). This is on a fully active computer on AC power . So dim when idle should not take effect anyway. I have tried all possible combinations with gnome-power-manager e.g. disabling the dim when idle check box, setting default brightness to a lower level etc. Please let me know if you need further information. [Bug 589899] Show her how passionate you are
If you have problems getting or keeping an erection, it is a good reason to talk to a doctor! Dear 589850, Even if your sex life is already rich and fulfilling... Imagine you had a little more energy... if your erections stayed harder... or you could go just a little longer... Or maybe you worry, when you climb under the covers, that you’re starting something you can’t finish? Well, now advancements in natural medicine are making it easier than ever to promote a strong libido, firm, natural erections and enhanced desire. Now thanks to this exciting natural breakthrough, you could get an erection “on demand” and when you do, sustain it long enough – and keep firm enough — to fully satisfy your wife in bed. Even if you’re in your 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or older! As a doctor, I’ve learned something over the years that may surprise you — age has very little to do with sex. There are men out there having the best sex of their lives well into their 80th year and beyond. And those men have three key things in common that their sex starved friends don’t: Hard, recurring erections... Heightened desire and stamina... And a reproductive system that could be functioning at the top of its game... Lucky? You bet. But you too could give your body the nutrients it needs to support your entire sexual health. Never mind, it looks as if you have a SiS video card. The SiS driver has not received much work for a while now and it seems unlikely that it ever will. You could try filing a bug upstream at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/ and attach your XorgLog.txt and GstreamerVersions.txt there, but your best bet would be to add a discrete video card to your system (or replace the existing SiS discrete video card). [Bug 802572] Re: cannot login after suspend -- empty grey box
Doesn't look too interesting? To reproduce: * Suspend form the session indicator * Resume and move your mouse so the password dialog comes up * Wait for the Time has expired message - at that point I'm unable to proceede. * go to tty1 and back to tty7 - dialog turned into a grey box as described. To continue, I have to kill the process started by /usr/lib/gnome-screensaver/gnome-screensaver-dialog --status-message= --enable-switch ** Attachment added: gs.log https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/802572/+attachment/2197403/+files/gs.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/802572 Title: cannot login after suspend -- empty grey box To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/802572/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
