[Bug 863309] Re: Menubar always shown by default (although deactivated) (after upgrade)
I think Nautilus may have the same problem. After the upgrade, Nautilus has sprouted menus when running in the root window. The menus appear after about a short delay, just as in Gnome Terminal. Could there be a common cause? I'm running Nautilus under fvwm (nautilus --no-default-window). I've found one other reference to this problem, but no bug report: http://askubuntu.com/questions/61105/nautilus-menu-appearing-behind-transparent-gnome-shell-menubar -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863309 Title: Menubar always shown by default (although deactivated) (after upgrade) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/863309/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 879266] [NEW] gnome clock 'copy date' ignores custom format
Public bug reported: run gconf and change the clock app's format to a custom one. On my system (ubuntu 11.04 using custom desktop) it is /apps/panel/applets/applet_0/prefs. Enter 'custom' for 'format' and (eg) '%Y/%b/%d (%a)' for 'custom_format'. Quit gconf. You should see the custom format displayed in the clock as (eg) '2011/Oct/21 (Fri)'. Now, right click on the clock and select 'copy date'. Paste somewhere. Observe that instead of '2011/Oct/21 (Fri)' you get 'Friday, 21 October 2011'. Please consider implementing a change to make the 'copy date' option copy what is displayed and not ... something else. [Bug 879305] [NEW] POP Leave messages on server now requires Days
Public bug reported: Evolution 3.x has changed in the POP Receiving Options to have the Leave Messages On Server selection linked to the Days value. In Evolution 2.x (and probably previous versions) these options were separate. This is very confusing for users who want *all* their POP messages left on the server with no day filtering, and seems non-standard when compared to previous Evolution versions and just about every other POP client that I have encountered. If the Leave messages on server option is selected, then the Days option should also be required to enabled, not left permanently enabled as if the current situation.
