Re: [Bug 780117] Re: Brasero finishes without error but unusable media [on-the-fly mode] (Ubuntu 11.04 -12.04)
Jos [2012-05-04 16:35 -]: As much as I respect the time and effort put in Ubuntu by everyone, how come 12.04 could get out the door with such a bug? You might not like that answer, but at least my reality is that it's been years ago since I used or burned a CD/DVD, and none of my computers even have a drive any more. I think this applies to most developers these days. So this is an area which indeed gets tested very seldomly; this needs to be improved. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/780117 Title: Brasero finishes without error but unusable media [on-the-fly mode] (Ubuntu 11.04 -12.04) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/brasero/+bug/780117/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 972311] Re: Accessing a MTP device like the Galaxy Nexus fails
I also have issues connecting the Galaxy Nexus to a fully up to date Precise system. The system recognises the device, it shows as 'Galaxy' on the Unity dock and I can open it in Nautilus, but then Nautilus just searches for the contents for a long time before giving up and showing an empty directory without any contents. The Nexus is a very popular device, especially among the people who are running Linux, so I'd say support for it should really be a priority. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/972311 Title: Accessing a MTP device like the Galaxy Nexus fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/972311/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Reported as bug #959882 which should probably be marked as a duplicate of this one, but left it separate for now in case it's not the same thing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-games in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/959882 Title: gnome-sudoku crashed with signal 5 in g_settings_get_value() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-games/+bug/959882/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 995074] [NEW] Can't print from Evince/Document Viewer HP 4215
Public bug reported: Just upgraded to 12.04 from 10.04 a few days ago. Am able to print test pages, web forms, and Libre Office documents but when I try to print a .pdf opened with Evince, the document goes into the print queue and stays there with a status of stopped. The only thing that I can do at that point is to cancel the document, the only other options available are reprint which puts it right back in the same state, and retrieve which saves the file to disk. I can't say with 100% certainty that I was able to print .pdfs from 10.04 but I can't imagine that I was using that distro for several years without having the occasion to do so at least once. [Bug 995074] Re: Can't print from Evince/Document Viewer HP 4215
Thank you for using Ubuntu and filing a bug. Are you trying to print by using 'Print Preview' first or by simply using 'Print'? There is a known bug with using 'Print Preview' (bug #994243). ** Changed in: evince (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete ** Changed in: evince (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Jamie Strandboge (jdstrand) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995074 Title: Can't print from Evince/Document Viewer HP 4215 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/995074/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 674621] Re: Totem jumps to a random position when pausing after scrolling the video with mouse wheel
I can confirm that this bug affects me in 12.04, but instead of jumping to another position after pressing the spacebar, Totem continues from the position I paused. ** Summary changed: - Totem jumps to a random position when pausing after scrolling the video with mouse wheel + Totem jumps to a random position when pausing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/674621 Title: Totem jumps to a random position when pausing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/674621/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 995074] Re: Can't print from Evince/Document Viewer HP 4215
Just tried it again as I was not certain whether I had tried preview or not. Also used a different .pdf file than previously. Did not select print preview, just went straight to print, the document is in my print queue with status of stopped. More information that may be useful: the document has a size of US Letter, Portrait (8.49 × 10.99 inch) when I view properties in evince window, but when I check print job attributes in the queue it says PageSize Custom the other thing that seems like it might have information that would be useful to figuring out what's going on is that it says job-printer-state-message /usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed I would give the whole text of the print job attributes but I can't text select on that window. Let me know if you think any more info would be helpful or if you want me to try anything -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995074 Title: Can't print from Evince/Document Viewer HP 4215 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/995074/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 995074] Re: Can't print from Evince/Document Viewer HP 4215
I also tried printing a .pdf that I know I had printed previously (it was one that I generated myself from OpenOffice.org and had posted on my website back when I had one) and saw the same behavior so it seems pretty likely that it is not a problem with the files. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995074 Title: Can't print from Evince/Document Viewer HP 4215 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/995074/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993047 Title: Arrêt soudain de la lecture aléatoire de Rhythmbox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/993047/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
