[Bug 908670] Re: [network]: gnome-control-center crashed with SIGSEGV in panel_get_strongest_unique_aps()
Martin (and Mathieu), it would be helpful if you could include the package version in question in your "accepted into ... -proposed" boiler-plate. Anyway, I think I was never able to systematically reproduce this bug and did not see it often, so I will have difficulties to confirm any fix. Using 1:3.4.1-0ubuntu1 now (which I believe does not have your fix) but I can not make it crash by clicking around in the Network preferences. If the crash is dependent on having a hidden ESSID in the neighbourhood it is even more difficult to test it conclusively. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/908670 Title: [network]: gnome-control-center crashed with SIGSEGV in panel_get_strongest_unique_aps() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/908670/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 998434] Re: sudoku quiz not solveable! :(
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures At a minimum, we need: 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem, 2. the behavior you expected, and 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). [Bug 998448] [NEW] Colors appear wrong

I have tried to reproduce that bug, using the provided images, but got the opposite result: image_noicc_noexif.jpg appears to be rendered correctly, while image_sRGB.jpg is not. Also, the color distortion seems different from the reported on #272584, maybe because of a different monitor? I'm attaching a screenshot, using the same sample images at #272584. Thank you for your bug report. This problem also happen, for example, with the youtube plugin. So this is rather a totem bug than a plugin bug. It works on Oneiric. [Bug 938751] Re: jpeg images are washed out or colors are skewed
Could everyone still having the problem check if an ICC profile is set for his display by running: xprop -root | grep ICC_PROFILE If none is set the grep should be empty (besides a possible _ICC_PROFILE_IN_X_VERSION entry). If one is set unset it with xprop -root -remove _ICC_PROFILE the check the image display. If it is okay then, it is most likely an issue with the profile. [Bug 998389] [NEW] Brasero crashes on clicking the close window control while burning
Public bug reported: I am sorry I can't attach an apport bug report as apport simply does something wired while reporting this (simply disappears but does not crash). I will look into this, too. I will therefore attach valgrind output and the unformated crash file. But I think this will likely be reproducible for everyone as it does not only happen while burning but also while creating iso files. Steps to do: Create a new data disc with brasero, if you want to try this with iso files put some big files onto the disc as you need a few seconds to reproduce the bug. Start the burning/writing process and simply click on the close button (X) in the window control. Program crashes and if you really burn something the disc braseero was burning won't stop spinning. I had to use "cdrecord -abort" to eject it as eject just shows: eject: Kann nicht auswerfen! Letzter Fehler: Unpassender IOCTL (I/O-Control) für das Gerät (eject: Eject failed! Last error: Wrong IOCTL for this device) What I was expecting: Either a confirmation to cancel the burn process or a simple minimization to the notification area. Valgrind output attached. [Bug 984785] Re: .goutputstream files polluting $HOME
After removing/uninstalling all Ubuntu One packages as suggested by cheribibi and Daniel in posts #16 and #17 respectively, I now see only one new .goutputstream-* file in my /home every morning when I turn on my computer. The Properties of all my .goutputstream-* files show that their size is 0 bytes and opening the files with gedit show that they are blank. I have moved my .goutputstream-* files to Trash, kept them there for a couple of days, then deleted them and it does not appear to have any affect on the normal performance of my system. Hope someone who is familiar with Ubuntu ... and its variants ... will look into this problem as it is quite frustrating to see these apparently useless files appearing everyday. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/984785 Title: .goutputstream files polluting $HOME To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/984785/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
